Ugandan & Congolese born Larry Kamanda, also known as Rhyjarh M St. Claire; stage name Rhyjarh is a Hip-Hop/R&B Rapper, Singer/Songwriter from London.
Rhyjarh grew up in Edmonton, North London but spent most of his childhood within the Stamford Hill estate in Hackney and Central parts of London such as Oxford Circus, Leicester Sq and Trafalgar Sq dancing with his cousin and a various range of creatives and extreme sports athletes.
Rhyjarh and his cousin started to spend most of there time in central dancing to avoid the troubled area they both grew up in shortly after a close friend of theirs passed.
Unfortunately this didn’t last long as over the years due to not only family circumstances and the near birth of Rhyjarh’s son lead him to a life crime which he is no longer involved in.
Unexpectedly Rhyjarh lost his son due to a tragic unexpected still birth 8 months into the pregnancy.
Rhyjarh’s music reflects not only his life experiences but also addresses personal emotions, subjects and topics that everyone tends to go through however avoid speaking on whether it be because the person may feel self-conscious or self-humiliation.
Besides from lyrically speaking in 1st and 3rd person Rhyjarh’s music also relates to everyday hardship that the average and non-average person may experience in a motivating, embracing yet empathetic way.
His music is not only music you can sit down and listen to whilst reflecting and grieving; his music is also motivating, uplifting, roof-rocketing and educational in the most beautiful and blissful of ways.
Growing up Rhyjarh has heavily been inspired by singers such as Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Keyshia Cole, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Omarion and more. The birth of his rapping influences began with J. Cole and Meek Mill. Artists such as Nipsey Hussle, Chinx, Wretch 32, Stromzy, Fredo and Krept & Konan have not only heavily influenced Rhyjarh but help shape his word play, flow, creativity and rapper characteristics.
Other than music Rhyjarh has a large interest in Fashion Design and Fitness.
From young Rhyjarh has been a star athlete and competed in many school & community athletic events
shifting from swimming, basketball, ice skating, boxing, Kung-fu and more various sports. Rhyjarh eventually found himself settled in American Football playing as a Free-Safety and Wide Receiver with the London Blitz in Finsbury Park, North London.
Sadly Rhyjarh experienced a traumatic injury which still effects him to this day causing him to let go of his athletic ambitions however evendoe challenged he stands undefeated as he still decided to chase his fitness endeavours by becoming a L3 Personal trainer.
His aim with fitness is to eventually open up a training academy where youths and young adults primarily living in crime-driven societies have a refuge to train and develop their sporting talents.
When it comes to fashion, however, Rhyjarh’s unique passion derived from style.
His future aim with fashion, once his music endeavours have been fulfilled, is to return to education in order to complete his fashion course before following a career in fashion design
Rhyjarh’s ultimate goal is to become an all round Award Winning Artist who uses his public status to rebuild broken communities and address political issues in regards to poverty (nationally & globally) and opportunities for young people & youth (nationally & globally) whilst inspiring a new generation to do better and become better.
By Rhyjarh becoming one of the few artists managed by B2X he feels as if everything he has been sacrificing up until this point to reach his ultimate goal has finally come to good fortune and that the wins & looses he was subjected to are only tributes to the growing success his now making with B2X as his hands reach out closer and nearer to the longing awards and appreciation of his music his desired his whole life.
