About Me

Pete Andrew is an astounding Radio Presenter who is yet to reach the pinnacle of his career. He is no stranger to this business having blessed the airwaves for 15 years! His passion for entertaining his listeners has never once fallen short of his reach and continues to keep his listeners wanting more!

Music to Pete Andrew is not music but an art that should be nurtured continuously, with only the finest soulful sounds. He is most definitely a man of the all time rare groove classics and soul but has a vast knowledge of all music genres. His first love was Funk which slowly matured into Soul. His record collection is not to be delved into by amateurs and is still growing to this day! Pete Andrew does not have a favourite artist as such, but is very big on lyrics. ‘I like artists who compile a good choice of words to make a song, the lyrics have to be saying something if you know what I mean.’ The likes of Teena Marie, Roy Ayers, Luther Vandross, Joanna Gardener and Anita Baker to name but a few artists you will always catch Pete Andrew listening to. His greatest influence is himself as he states, ‘What I do comes from the heart, I am influenced by how I present my shows and also how the show is being received.’

Pete Andrew’s personality roars through the airwaves as he delivers an honest, no nonsense, heartfelt show that will be sure to leave you intrigued for more. His professional, but warm down to earth style of presenting as well as his vast knowledge of music over the years, has gained him endless popularity which has grown phenomenally. His fan base varies widely, ranging from the young to the more mature listener.

Away from music, growing up in the 70s Pete Andrew was born and bred in South East London and comes from a very large family. He is no doubt a family man, being a father of three; and for Pete Andrew family is everything and more. He generally takes time out to have big family days to bring the family together to keep that special bond going.

With music aside Pete Andrew’s interests include reading (personal development books are his number one), spending time with the family, going to the theatre and taking some time out to just chill.
