ProgrammeWhat's on. Where it's at. Plus great music
BioTo coin a phrase used by Eric Roberson, Gracie is a music fan first.
Gracie first got addicted to quality soul music in her early teens, listening to radio stations such Radio Luxemburg , Kiss, Invicta, and LWR. Always at her happiest spending countless hours in record shops searching for the latest releases, and hidden gems.
Another passion is the live music experience starting with her first concert to see Atlantic Star in the 1980's. Over the years she has seen most of her favourite artists including Teena Marie, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Prince, Maxwell, D'Angelo, Aretha Franklin, Dwele, Joe, Maze, Gregory Porter, Omar, Dianne Reeves and many more.
Music is definitely something that can make you happy, lift your spirits and just put a spring in your step.
Sulger-Buel Lovell Gallery
Sulger-Buel Lovell is positioned as part of a new approach in understanding the trajectories of contemporary art from Africa and the diaspora. Our belief is that the socio-cultural and economic transformations of Africa can be better understood through the analysis and interpretation of cutting-edge art. Furthermore, contemporary art in Africa is relevant in understanding the broader socio-political context of the continent. Sulger-Buel Lovell offers a strategic partnership approach with artists, and a highly individual approach to clients. The gallery, based in London with a head-office in Cape Town, accompanies existing and new collectors to this emerging market. We are dedicated to the long term success of the collectors and artists we work with.http://www.sulger-buel-lovell.com |
