About Me

Calvin Francis started out in radio during services in the Falkland Islands, and then moved to B.F.B.S in Germany, mid 80s.

He came back to the UK in 1989 and worked on W.N.K Radio before joining Choice FM in 1991, where he currently presents every Saturday and Sunday from 3am.
Calvin is also a registered voiceover artists and producer and is no stranger to Commercial Production having been Head of Choice FM's Commercial Production team for over 10 years.

Tune in to hear up front hip hop and R&B, mixed with classics from the 90s and more about your favourite artist on a weekly basis. Never be lost for somewhere to go as Calvin gives his weekly run down on all the gigs and concerts in London and the surrounding areas.

Don’t just keep Calvin to yourself… Make sure you tell all your friends where to find Calvin Francis on his new slot on Colourful Radio, every Thursday and Friday from 1pm – 3pm and listen closely because you could be one of Calvin’s lucky show winners, winning anything from tickets to the hottest gigs in town to the ‘must have’ CD’s for your collection.

Aside from work he’s a big footie fan and in between life on radio he enjoys going to watch Arsenal games. His pet hates include watching Arsenal lose (which apparently doesn’t happen often).
