Armed Forces committed to making sure they better represent the society they serve
So says Sir Michael Fallon, The Secretary of State for Defence

16/10/2017 8AM | STORY | Press

This October, Colourful Radio, the largest African Caribbean owned radio network in the UK, was given exclusive access to the Secretary of State for Defence, the Right Honourable Sir Michael Fallon MP.

So, we thought we'd fire some home truths at Michael, as he likes to be called. As you will see and hear in our clip and among the questions we wanted to know the challenges the country faces with the increasing number of terrorist attacks being carried out on our streets, but also at this time of the year, Black History Month, why the UK's armed forces are failing to recruit enough ethnic minorities, and critically how he plans to address and resolve this.

Watch our footage of this exclusive chat with Sir Michael Fallon on BEN TV (Sky 238) this Thursday 19 October 2017 from 10am with Kalisha Johnson.
