Farah Ahmed is the Events & Network Coordinator at London based environmental art charity Julie's Bicycle. She supports the programming of national events, creating social media content and connecting the various communities working with Julie's Bicycle, including alumni of the Creative Climate Leadership programme and Arts Council England's Accelerator network. Farah also leads of the development and recording of two new podcasts; Green Heritage Futures, exploring the role of cultural heritage in the climate crisis; and The Colour Green, tracing the intersections of race, social and climate justice, and the natural world.
Farah is an artist and creative producer whose interests lie in climate justice and platforming marginalised narratives in cultural and environmental work. She is an alumni of the peer-led accelerator programme Enrol Yourself, where she developed an artistic project exploring climate grief, mental health and activism.
