Kemarlo Tomlin stage name Boasy Solgy known for songs such as Nuh Dirt, Walking Cash Machine and Dry Tears .
Born in Kingston, Jamaica 7.11.1983 Boasy has Lived in many different areas in Jamaica such as Almond Town, Drewsland, Waterhouse and uptown on Hope Road, close to the home of Bob Marley.
His love for music started from a young age varying from all genres of music especially dancehall but all stemming from a Sunday morning with his house filled with praise and worship of gospel songs.
Boasy Attended various schools such as Papine Comprehensive, New Day All Age, Mona High school and Jamaica a college where he excelled in football/soccer, which led to him to play for professional teams such as the Harbour View, Cavaliers and the Jamaica national youth team.
Once out of school he began to work for The Gleaner Company representing their football team.
In 2004 Boasy left Jamaica and headed for the UK.
Initially, Boasy was based in Birmingham where the music crew group West Best formed.
The formation of this group led Boasy to realise his talent of songwriting and the Passion he has for performing, Boasy is an entertainer and enjoys performing on stage in front of large audiences.
This is where Boasy’s bold, BOASY persona comes to life.
During 2004 Boasy joined the British Army, leading him into war operations around the world.
In 2006, the Army led Boasy to London, where he has now settled.
Being Surrounded by Musicians Boasy has had a large influence of music, From the Famous Baby Cham and The One and Only Stylog.
Being around both of these artists shown Boasy how to deal with the media and how both hard work and dedication can lead to a successful career.
Now in 2018 his career has taken a positive turn with Boasy Solgy now signed to the B2X Music Management Group, who are assisting him in polishing his craft.
