I don’t have a million pounds or a big record label behind me, I don’t even have a manager yet but everything you see, my website, my videos, my studio time is all funded and created by me and I write and create all my songs, I'm a single mum, working and grafting and believing that if you have a dream, make it a reality but remember dreams don't work unless you do "

Singer, Songwriter, Performer

RRema has a strong background performing live on stage, as well being an amazing songwriter, she is vocally a Mezzo Soprano and her vocals are influenced by the R&B of the 90s with the current UK sound intertwined in her music. Her musical influences are vast and eclectic depending on the mood but the icons who have helped shape her sound include vocal divas Aretha Franklin, Mary J Blige, Faith Evans and Jodeci and Michael & Janet Jackson. Also a lot of emerging artist like SZA, Raye, Jorja Smith and EllaMai have influenced the writing of her EP.

RRema Echo is currently writing and completing her first EP and has recorded and co-directed the video for her first single "Forget You Know Me" which talks about when a relationship gets to the point of no return and you want to erase everything about it, simply put:

“Forget you know me and forget you know my number”

Described as a diamond in the rough, that statement inspired her so much so she has named her first EP exactly that. Rrema Echo has taken her sassy style and life lessons with everyday stories and created her EP “Diamond in the Rough”

“Diamond in the rough, is the definition of my music”

"What I am creating is something really beautiful if you can look beyond the exterior and take the time to give your attention and open your mind to my words"

Miss Rrema Echo, started her musical journey young, singing in church and the choir and realising her aspiration to sing. Rrema has honed her skills and built up a background in the industry working on projects from singing as a backing vocalist & session singer to performing as part of a band “Soul Liberation Funk” and also featuring on various UK artist projects, she has also appeared on TV in The Wager & X-Factor

Echo has a strong live performance background, performing in venues all over the UK and having been blessed to work with and learn from artist like Kele Le Roc, Ashley Walters, Mutya Buena, Lifford and Elizabeth Troy just to name a few.

"Now I want to make my mark on the music industry not for the money or the fame but to be recognised for my singing and writing abilities by my peers"
