With over 20 years in the hair & beauty industry, Latenda made a name for herself after opening her first salon in West London. Shortly after, she grew a huge following offline & online with her popular Instagram followers surpassing 45.2K. The hair stylist is known for her protective styling skills, managing to increase the natural length of her client’s hair.
Known as the 'The Hair Doctor' due to her degree in Hair Science and teaches her salon clients how to look after their hair. She guest writes for Bella Naija spreading her knowledge on hair health, hair loss & scalp deficiencies. Moreover, Latenda has set up a charity where she creates wigs for young children who have lost their hair through chemotherapy, surgery or natural causes. Latenda will also be releasing her own hair care line in the latter part of the year which includes her 'special oils' that will be sold via her website & salon.

Latenda's work has been featured on BBC3, BBC1 as well as Black Hair & Beauty Magazine, Pride Magazine, Niji Magazine, The Voice Newspaper, Fashion Bomb Daily and the Evening Standard. Latenda is a contributing writer on all things hair for Bella Naija, the biggest Nigerian Magazine in the world.
