About Me
Jaslyn is a world traveller. Born in Barbados, raised in London, lived in Australia, Canada and Tanzania, Jaslyn has travelled 5 continents to go back home to Barbados. Colourful Radio is another stopover.
Jaslyn is a radio and TV broadcaster, music consultant and freelance writer with 15 years experience in the entertainment industry across a range of events; festivals, live music, corporate, state, international, and community events. Her credits include producer and presenter of Australia’s first national Black music program ‘Round Midnight on ABC Radio, presenter and producer of Triple J’s World Music Show, ABC TV presenter Access All Areas, Artistic consultant to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Arts Festival, Entertainment coordinator for the Australian Pavilion at Expo 2005, Aichi, Japan, and music co-ordinator for sports presentation at the Asian Games, Doha, Qatar.
In 2004 Jaslyn established Jaslyn Hall Presents in Sydney, Australia. The independent tour company promoted national tours of musicians from Cuba, Mali, South Africa, Israel, Tunisia and USA.
Jaslyn has a diverse cultural aesthetic, is committed to world peace and her life, like her career is lived with passion, innovation, and adventure.
